This week will be my turn to song lead again. I have another new song, just completed yesterday. Actually i have composed the melody for a few weeks already and the lyrics was finally completed yesterday. It will make its debut this Saturday, during our Prayer Meeting if being endorsed :) If you would like to join our prayer meeting, you are most welcome. Our church is situated in Donggongon Light Industries Park, near S.J.K Yue Min, Penampang. The service starts at 7:30 p.m.

Tiada S'PertiMU - My first ever own song

My first ever song finally completed in July 2009. I have brought it three or four times in my church when i was the song leader. A fast song, dedicated to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. No MP3 yet but i'll work on it.. hopefullylah.. :D

Church And Shrine

I was at a photoshop in Keningau to develope some photos from my digital camera (borrowed actually) when i saw this shrine attached near a staircase. It was dusty and filled with spiderweb. Look like nobody offered prayers to it for such a long time. Abandoned just like that. No idol nor words found on it.

I looked at the stair and noticed there is actually a church upstair. Wah, a rare scene for me. A shrine on a staircase to the church :)

I sure hope the church is not dusty or filled with spiderweb but filled with congregations that are longing for the LORD. The LORD is coming and we want all churches that preaches the truth, grow in quantity and quality.

"Allah Peduli" Controversy

Agnes Monica was on the center of controversy recently when she sang a gospel song entitled "Allah Peduli" (God Cares). The clip was uploaded in Youtube. The controversy was started by some Muslims in Malaysia, a country where only the Muslim can use the word "Allah". Other religion is prohibited from using it.

Actually that is not her fault and never was. This is because she is an Indonesian and Indonesia never prohibits other religion from using the word "Allah". Furthermore, this song is not in any of her album. It is a church song and always being sang in my church. This song is really blessing as it acknowledge that God really care for us. No matter what situation we are in, He is always there for us. Even if we can't feel His presence, He is there for us. Sometimes HE carries us when we are down, sometimes He guides us when we are in the dark, He gives us strenght when we are weak, most of all He is watching over us all the time (Matt 6 : 25-30). This is what the song is about and i am truly blessed by this song.

A touching song from Agnes Monica. I don't think she is the original singer. I ever brought this song in one session when i was the worship leader. It true, God does really care for us no matter what situation we are facing. He will always be with us.

Every Saturday night, we have prayer meeting at our church. It starts at 7:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Sometimes until 10 p.m. if the Holy Spirit presence are very strong. In cases like that we normally will continue to worhsip the Lord until our souls are satisfied by the Lord's presence. Our activities in Prayer Meeting are Praise and Worship, sharing session of what the Lord has done in one's life, learn from the word of God, Praying for listed prayer items and also praying with each other. Wondeful fellowship i tell you

Two weeks ago, Sister Valerance was entrusted to share the Word of God that night. She shared about the suffering we are going or gone through in our lives. Beautiful sharing...

Sesungguhnya Tuhan tidak membiarkan kita menderita secara sia-sia. Dalam setiap penderitaan yang kita hadapi, terkandung suatu maksud Allah yang sukar untuk dimengertikan pada mulanya. Tetapi apabila kita merenungkannya kembali, di situlah kita melihat pekerjaan Allah yang luar biasa dalam hidup kita. Respon orang percaya terhadap penderitaan adalah berbeza dengan orang yang tidak percaya (Roma 5 : 3-5)

Saudari ini mengisahkan tentang penderitaan yang pernah dialaminya di mana satu ketika dahulu selepas mendirikan rumahtangga, mereka suami isteri hidup dalam kesusahan. Selalu berkekurangan dalam hidup. Rumah yang disewa dalam keadaan yang menyedihkan dengan atap yang kerap mengalami kebocoran. Waktu hujan, mereka terpaksa menyediakan beberapa baldi untuk menadah hujan agar rumah tidak basah teruk. Kadang-kadang mereka juga tidak cukup makan dan pernah beberapa kali mereka makan hanya kangkung sahaja. Mereka sebenarnya telah mengenal Tuhan tapi kerana kesibukan, hubungan dengan Tuhan menjadi renggang. Akibat dari kesusahan yang dilalui itu, mereka kembali kepada Tuhan dan menyerahkan segala keperluan mereka kepada Tuhan. Mereka juga mulai rajin ke gereja dan berdoa. Kehidupan mereka sejak itu mulai berubah dengan perlahan di mana berkat Tuhan dicurahkan ke atas mereka. Mereka diberkati dalam pekerjaan dan usaha mereka sehingga mempunyai wang yang cukup untuk membeli sebuah rumah. Biarpun tidak kaya, makan dan minum sentiasa mencukupi dan tidak pernah lagi melalui seperi pengalaman masa lalu mereka. Menurut saudari Valerance, kalau bukan kerana penderitaan yang dihadapi sebelum itu. mereka tidak mungkin akan mencari Tuhan. Itulah tujuan penderitaan dalam kehidupan mereka, iaitu membawa mereka kembali kepada Tuhan. Sesungguhnya kepercayaan kepada Tuhan dan meresponi firman Tuhan mendatangkan berkat yang besar.

Tujuan penderitaan dalam hidup kita :

Persediaan kita untuk pelayanan kita di masa akan datang. Kita boleh menolong orang lain yang menghadapi penderitaan yang sama dengan penderitaan yang pernah kita alami dahulu.
Penderitaan adalah kemuliaan untuk nama Tuhan. Apabila kita ditolong dalam penderitaan tersebut, nama Tuhan akan dimuliakan.
Penderitaan adalah sebahagian daripada peperangan rohani yang akan mematangkan iman kita. Contohnya adalah Ayub yang kehilangan segalanya kerana Tuhan. Namun dia tetap bertahan sehingga dia mendapat kembali apa yang diambil daripadanya, bahkan berlipat kali ganda lagi.
Penderitaan yang kita hadapi akan membentuk karakter kita iaitu karakter yang bersesuaian dengan kehendak Tuhan

This was what Sister Valerance shared that night and it really gave strenght to us who were there that time and refreshed our faith to the Lord. We will not look suffering as a negative thing but as a opportunity to be molded by God, to fit into His purpose in our lives and to be more like Him.

Slight Changes Of Plan

I owe everyone a big apology about the speaker for our service tomorrow. There have been some changes to the plan for our guest speaker, Pastor Klayton Ko couldn't come. I think i wrongly quoted their retreat schedule at Mesilau. They suppose to be there from Thursday until tomorrow (Sunday) evening which automatically ruled him out for delivering sermon to our congregation. I was really looking forward to see him, hear and receive the special blessing from Hawaii. If God permits, he will come here again someday :D

His place however will be taken over by the designated translator for tomorrow :D I believe God will work in a wonderfull way tomorrow through this wonderful sister, bringing different kind of blessing to us.

Dear Lord, i'm ready to be blessed by You. I pray that You will use the speaker for tomorrow in Your own special way. Open our eyes, heart and mind to see Your will in our daily lives. Amen.

Our Father's Love indeed is very deep. Even the deepest ocean cannot compare to His Love. It is higher than the sky, beyond of what we can imagine. Many songs has been composed to praise God for His Love. One of them is this song from The True Worshippers. This is a such a blessing song. I brought this song once when i song led a few weeks back in my church. This song is included in True Worshippers album entitled "All Things New".

Sabah - C.C.C International Retreat Destination

Sabah was choosen as the destination for the Calvary Charismatic Center (C.C.C.) International Annual Retreat. Senior Pastors of C.C.C. around the world gathered at Mesilau Resort for 4 days 3 nights starting last Tuesday until today. After the retreat, each of them will be asked to deliver sermon at C.C.C. branches around Sabah this coming Sunday. For C.C.C. Donggongon where i am attending, Senior Pastor of C.C.C. Hawaii Pastor Klayton Ko will be sharing the Word of God to our congregation. Of course there will be translator that day. My friend entrusted with the resposibility admitted that she is quite nervous with it :D Even the song leader for this Sunday Service is feeling the same. I haven't ask our musician yet. Must be the same :D I'm just a back up singer that day, so i am feeling okay hehehe...

We are expecting a big blessing from Pastor Klayton, answers to our never ending questions of life. I will surely post the sermon he will deliver this Sunday. Hopefully i can jot down the main points of his Sermon. I want to share it with you all here :)

My First Post - Song Dedicated To My Saviour

I am thankful to the Lord Jesus for saving me. Even though i am full with weaknesses and fell many times, HE still loves me. No matter what i've done, HE will forgive me if i repent and surrender my life to HIM. I have been blessed with many things. I have seen HIM working tremendously in my life. Everytime i am down, HE is there to comfort me. HE waits for me with an open arms. When i come to HIM, HE showers me with HIS love, lifts me up and gives me strength to carry on. I could not thank HIM enough for everything that HE has done for me because no words can describe how great is HIS love. I could only give thanks and sing praises to HIM.
